Current ExhibitionPAST PRESENTS FUTURE: A RISOGRAPH EXHIBITION ABOUT TIME
Recent work from Purdue Art + Design Dept.’s AD220: Computers in Art Class Now - November 30th As part of a class assignment, the 15 artists whose work is on view in this exhibition created digital imagery through a variety of techniques and processes. The files were emailed to Clatter Press, a commercial print studio based in Columbus, Ohio, who printed the imagery in small editions using their risograph machine. The results of this collaboration are the 15 prints on view in PAST PRESENTS FUTURE. The title of this exhibition refers to the theme of the prints themselves: for this project, all 15 artists in the Computers in Art class created imagery related in some way to the theme of “time.” The artists included in this exhibition are Zeda Bartlett-Duhr, Elaine Chiang, Andrew Choi, Madison Diehl, Alex Haddon, Vanessa Heltzel, Rosie Inman, Raven Kurtz, Jessica Lyons, Brian Roberts, Savanna Scherschel, Sharon Sun, Maeve Tra, Chenhao Yin, Ya-Yuan Yu. The instructor for the course and curator of this exhibition is Brian Hitselberger. |
